Travel Rules

Each delivery is special. While the regulations of each country are different and complex, one rule for Wuuff Taxi is always the same... we comply with all pet transport requirements and regulations!

Under general European regulations, the passport, the microchip and a completed rabies vaccination are the minimum requirements for the travel of pets. In the case of puppies, transport can only take place 21 days after the rabies jab is administered. Any delay in travel is not required for future rabies boosters in adult dogs.

There are too many different country rules to write here. But don't worry, we know them all. When you inform us of the travel destination, we will work out the route, and inform you of all the requirements to ensure a smooth and proper transport.

Frequently asked Questions

What kind of documents are needed?

According to general European regulations, the pet passport, an implanted identification chip, and the presence of a rabies vaccine are the minimum requirement for the travel of pets.

In the case of puppies, transport can only take place 21 days after the rabies vaccine has been administered. Any delay in travel is not required for future rabies boosters in adult dogs.

In addition, we recommend to include the purchase documentation and the health certificate of the animal during transport, which will be passed over to you on arrival.

What vehicles are used for transport?

Our new vehicles are a Citroen Jumper and an Opel Combo. Both were specially designed for animal transport, and have everything that is essential for the animals to travel safely and comfortably to their new loving family.

The vehicles are clean, air-conditioned, and equipped with ventilation. All this allows the animals to travel at an average temperature of 20 degrees, during any season.

DO THE animals travel in built-in or portable CRATES?

The cars are securely designed for the safe use of portable crates. In our experience it is much easier to keep clean and to disinfect both the interior of the car and the transport box when portable crates are used. We recommend that when you choose your pet you also request a transport crate, which can also be used later in the home and for training. These practical crates can be purchased on request from us too.

Can I track my pet's journey?

The tracking of the car during transport is available for our customers, so you can keep tabs on how close your new family member is.

Can I talk with the DRIVER?

Our colleagues are in constant contact with the driver to ensure you are kept up to date.
